One of the joys of collecting is displaying the collection. It is often difficult to display the object properly and adequately while keeping the object safe. Most of the time, extension cords or hardwired options are not the solution. Batteries, well that is a possible solution and provided they don’t leak, they may work fine. Unfortunately it is not a question of whether they leak or not, it is a question of when will they leak. It happen very often and depending on the collection it may not be a risk worth taking.
